@azngeneration21c

SInce y=5, it is not true that (0 < y <4), so by the contrapositive, it is NOT true that (x < 3), so the answer is that x is > or = to 3.

Anyone remember getting D for 24?

did you guys get mean<mode<median?

is 3 wrong 2 skip still 800?

No it’s mode=125, median=126, and mean=127 so mode<median<mean

@cherryblossom:
I did
(abs(b)-abs(ab))/(a-1)=(-b-a(-b))/(a-1) (since abs(a)=a and abs(b)=-b), then … = -b(1-a)/(a-1)=-b(-1)=b

@mickey I scrolled back in my calculator history and the set was 125,125,126,128,131… So mode: 125 median: 126 mean: 127…
therefore
mode<median<mean

what about imaginary root?

if it has x+ yi , then equation will also have -x-yi ?

@ashiej7 & @battlebrick:

What question had 155 as the answer?

Ti 89 titanium on this test just destroys half the questions haha

@doctoribach
no it would be x-yi

@doctoribach:

No, it will have x-yi. The answer was 2-3i.

@melzid i dont know the number but it was the one where n=1.05n(n-1) and you had to find n(10)

@g17xc:
can you remember the actual mean, median, mode question?

How do you scroll back in your calculator history besides 2nd enter

@steve I have mine set to list the past 99 things I did so I can just scroll up… Mine’s a ti89 titanium though.

@whatkneww

yes thats a raw of 44 you need 43 for an 800

so 3 wrong 2 skip- 800? or 790?

Any idea how to do it on the older TI Calculators?

@haters:
The recursive sequence was actually a sub n=1.05(a sub n-1) and you were given that a sub 100 was 12,500. It’s basically a geometric sequence with ratio 1.05 and 100th term 12,500. The 10th term would be 12,500/(1.05)^(100-10)=154.84.

Wait, is that the question people were saying 155 was the answer to?
