The ticket to dubai is under 20k i know its random but it doesn’t cost 1lakh for a trip to dubai…As far as the interview calls go, its not all about the academics you have

Th ticket to dubai is around 30K…and thy had to stay in Dubai for 2-3 days(Add hotel cost).
The visa for dubai is 10K and most people took one of their parents with thm so th total cost comes around to be 100000…

Dude my UK visit set me back by 80 big ones… pretty sure a Dubai visit won’t cost more than that… Although of course I wasn’t childish enough to take a parent with me!!

About your interview call, I think Cambridge has messed up this year. The new scholarship resulted in sooooo many applicants (pretty much every Tom, Dick and Harry applied - even some who are now in freshman year at Pakistani unis) and I think it is a valid hypothesis that they did a bit of random shortlisting because of which a good candidate like you got turned down. There is also the possibility that you messed up the personal statement (I hope you didn’t say that you wanted to study your course because of the excellent career prospects or something similar)… What’s your course anyway? And did you address why you want to study it in your ps? What did you write?

EDIT: And oh yeah you did fine to remove my offer from the Cambridge list as that was last year (I referred to it in my earlier post to justify my ambitious US list i.e. that I didn’t go to CAMBRIDGE without scholarship tou going to a US safety without aid would be totally stupid).

And I should add: Although you did fine to remove me, re-add 1 Cambridge offer from KGS (it’s another student and he’s from the 2010 admissions cycle).

Everybody has the same access to the list - instead of ordering other people to re-add names to the list, it would be appreciated if all of us could add names we want on the list ourselves. As lots of us have mentioned before, it would also be appreciated if the changes are highlighted or described at the end of the post.
