<p>So basically, I thought it would be fun if, instead of "West Coast Ivy League," prestigious West Coast schools got a completely new and original group name of their own.</p>

Stanford University
UC Berkeley
UCLA
USC
Rice University</p>
<p>What do you all think? Feel free to add more colleges to the list if I'm missing any, and/or contribute another original name (i.e. The Sunny League). :)</p>

<p>Rice? Are we putting all prestigious schools that aren’t on the East Coast under this? As far as I know, Rice is more to the East Coast than West.</p>

<p>And that is probably it. To counter the East Coast LACs we have Claremonts.</p>

Then we’d need a Kudzu League
