<p>I know this was kind of asking before, but is there a certain type of student at Tulane. I have already been accepted, and I am just trying to decide where to go. I am really into sports. How big is the intramural program, do people go to football/basketball/baseball games? I just would like to know. THANKS!!!</p>
<p>Well, you find different types of people everywhere. There's lots of certain types of people, like the large Jewish community, the New Yorkers, but that's not the extent of it. </p>
<p>However, sports aren't that big on campus. Not a lot of people go to the games with the exception of like volleyball and (I think) baseball. We don't win a lot and the football games are held in the Superdome, which is a pain. The intramural program is limited to the most popular sports like football. Club sports are your best bet. They're not very competitive, but do their best to play other schools and have real practices. Reilly, the gym, is pretty popular though.</p>
<p>I hate to disappoint, but it's better to know now.</p>
<p>The intramural sports are more extensive than football. My Ss played soccer, basketball, flag football, and softball. One S played club rugby and the other played club lacrosse. They enjoyed all. They also attended basketball games and baseball games. The new baseball field in on campus now. The football games in the superdome were never widely attended but the homecoming game this year was played in City Park and was very well attended and a lot of fun. Tulane has said they may play more games there in the future. </p>
<p>My S also had seasons tix to the Saints which he loved attending with a lot of other students.</p>
