The SAT Writing portion -- when will it be considered?

<p>I know that now, most colleges don't give a lot of weight to the Writing section. But when do you think they will? In other words, when will all SATs be out of "2400" instead of out of "1600 and here's my writing score?"</p>

<p>It's already considered by top schools. The SAT writing portion basically replaced the writing SATII.</p>
