The "summers" prompt word limit

For the "Summers" section on the Princeton supplement, the prompt is “Please tell us how you have spent the last two summers (or vacations between school years), including any jobs you have held, if not already detailed on the Common Application.” I notice that the maximum number of characters allowed is 2500, which is about 450 words. Do you guys think it is a hint for a 450 word essay, or a one paragraph response is also ok?

I think that adcoms won't be happy seeing next essay (it's SHORT response).

there's been a discussion on this already. many people decided to write an essay-ish thing, simply describing their experience. at the same time, many decided to go for a list, and it was not shown which one was more desirable.
I would personally write a list with descriptions. not a full-blown essay, but use the space to elaborate on the significance of your activities.
