Sorry, I do have a sense of humor. I'm just reluctant to have one when I know know full well that one my future classmates is actively working against the purpose of Princeton---liberalism. Look up the meaning of liberal, it implies broad-mindedness!

Well...but you have to know cap (and I use "know" very loosely since this is the Internet after all, but still...) to know that...well, that's just him. I believe kebree said it best when she advised everyone to take what cap says "with a grain of salt." Honestly. Even if he's serious, haha. He's crazy, but crazy fun too. And that's why we love him :)

hmm, i always took that to mean broad-mindedness towards everything, even narrowmindedness. not that you have to like it, just don't be mean towards it.

why am i still up this late??? :)

'cause CC is fun...and addicting...but it's not like crack! Don't do crack! Do CC :D That should definitely be a PSA. No doubt.

[rides carousel]

Princeton's purpose of "liberalism" is news to me. Maybe I shouldn't have bothered applying. ;)

EDIT: Phil, you may have to explain these brackets to the RDers :)

that sounds like fun to my sleep deprived brain... [joins phil on carousel, swinging from pole to pole...suddenly crashes into deep slumber while the carousel keeps spinning]

Oh, you know you're a closet liberal. Don't even try and deny it. I'm going to meet you and you're going to have flaming pink hair, peace signs all over your shirt, a flower power necklace, and hippie beads and bracelets and anklets all over. Not to mention the multiple facial and bodily piercings. Oh, and a tiara. Made of thorns. LIBERAL! ;)

Haha, I do brackets when the 60-second rule catches me. I mean, I have to occupy my time *some*how, so I do random things like riding a carousel, cooking, flying oceanic, and searching for Amelia Earhart. But yes, join the carousel ride! Could you move your foot though? I don't like seeing any part of unconscious people's bodies.

How's this for compromise (I am, afterall, from the same town as the Great Compromiser...agh, too much US history...):

I have a "liberal" personality (and make friends with more liberals than conservatives)
....but I have more conservative political views.

Sound good? :) Okay? Mmmk. Wait, not so good? sigh

Weeeeell, it's a start. I'll take it! Price is Right smile

Sounds good. I have friends of all colours (red, blue, green, orange, clueless and deluded), but no moderates.

You'd be surprised. Most political quizzes I've taken have said I'm just left of moderate. And that sucks. I want to be all the way to the left! Well, not radical, but you get my drift. The moderate position always makes me think of a funny article from the *Texas Travesty/i on centrists. Oh, now that was funny defined.

And with that, I bid you all fair night! draws cape around face

poof

I'll say adieu as well....
slips on the One Ring
vanishes

lol good night

(the unconscious person on the carousel is kinda creeping me out...)

Kebree: I have a "liberal" personality (and make friends with more liberals than conservatives)
....but I have more conservative political views.

that's just how I feel and the way you put it is perfect! from now on, if anyone asks, that'll be my statement.

i was away for a while because my mom, at 11:00! made me clean my bathroom.

haha, asian mothers! I think mine's given up on me.

for once, I agree with you ilcapo

By the way, Christmas is a pagan feast, that the church at some point decided to re-interpret as a Christian holiday rather than suppress its celebration. Thus, all atheists can still have Christmas fun guiltlessly =)

asian mothers lol. they are of some pretty good use sometimes - i submitted my app a day earlier cuz of her. otherwise i might not have even got down to sending it bcus of my procrastination...

a new word i learned today: quidnunc: someone who loves gossip and the latest news about people.

eergh. that was random. ok. i better shut up now.

everyone loves christmas. peopel dont even celebrate christmas for its true meaning anymore. ACLU has come out with a number of studies including that more than 60%of all "proclaimed christians" have never attended church and 20% only go on christmas and easter. religion is dying in the united states =D

prettyfish u must be new. these college forums arent meant to just talk about the school. its for people who aspire to go there and who will be going there to talk about mindless issues =D

prettyfish, Perhaps Prince-ten?
