The Weaver?

I had lunch with a 1st year student from the Academy and he was telling me about BCT and he mentioned the Assault, Confidence, Obstacle and Leadership Courses. He said in the Obstacle Course, there was this obstacle called the Weaver and barely anyone could do it. He tried describing it to me, but I couldn’t understand his discription, and decided that I would research it later. I tried googling it, but to no avail. Does anyone have any pictures of it or a link. What is it exactly?

The weaver? I found it pretty easy, and many others too. Maybe its changed? It's a sloped series of parallel logs. You go over one the under the next swinging or rolling over each until you get to the top. On the O-course you then just jump down, on the confidence course you walk down an identical one on the other side.

Here's a few pictures (I think these are all the weaver)

Hornetguy, what happens between the end of BCT & parents weekend? I see a couple weeks marked as "transition" on the schedule.

I think its where they get books and things like that, laptop. Im not sure.

There's about 4 or so days where you move, get books, and just prepare for school to start. Then, you get a few weeks of school in before it comes. It really sets you up for success; you don't get any priveledges like phones or passes before Parent's weekend, so you can get used to school as you should.
