The WHY HAVEN'T I GOTTEN IN YET thred!

i agree with sj wilson i didnt mean to say that i thought i was better because i had higher sat scores, its just that i thought usc considered those more than a lot of schools. and i have interesting hooks too im not just a 4.0 drone. none of the people who got in tick me off im happy for them (and jealous)

AHH! i'm going crazy.
my boyfriend's sister said that if i dont get the letter by march 31, im rejected :O
(she's a current USC student)

It's just that USC always does their rejections last around April.

Not really true though, my two friends got in AFTER April 1st, like mid-April of last year.

And to fellowccviewer: the people that are accepted first are usually the shoo-in, over-qualified applicants.

okay, why can't colleges just send them ALL on ONE day!! This is just really frustrating..

Is there any correlation between how early you submitted your application and when you get your decision?

no

10chars.

srvnly - because sending out 7600 acceptances + 30.000 rejections on one single day would be a logistical NIGHTMARE!

wait, so around date is it reasonable to say we were prob rejected if we havent a response??

probably second week of april

stop assuming dates.. i heard people getting in around mid-april.. i don't think it's all that much difference

of course, mid-april would also come with tons of rejections.. but i'm sure there are still acceptances stuck in between them.

My dad said there was something from USC in the mail, but he was kidding. -_-

awwww man, that is cruel! lol

I know! D< Oh, but you're from France? How cool.

is anyone scared? or am i the only one?

jhuscla
you aren't the only one ahhaha
(:

i am SO nervous
i am basically counting down the days
refreshing my status page
and checking my mail the minute it comes everyday
haha and my status is still stuck at received fall grades
is anyone else like that too?

tammers: me too, i've heard a couple of people who are also like that.
but i'd like to think that at this point, status updates dont matter..
so can anyone recap the low-down on the acceptances info?
is there still a really big wave coming out this weekend?
and are acceptances going to be extended out until april?
^i read that was being speculated on here.

actually, i dont think there are any major waves because it seems as though people are getting in every single day now (with the exception being sunday, of course)
