Theme housing advantages for a Spring admit?

Hello. I am an spring admit and I want to apply for theme housing. Is there any advantages, besides what's in the program alreaady. I want to do theme housing originally, before I even got my letter from berkeley because the services, even though somewhat small, appealed to me.

So I want to know: 1) How much of the programs/services promised do the theme housing programs actually carry out and follow through? Like are there actually academic counselors/speakers/weekend activities that relate to the theme and are worthwhile? I am not looking for some wonderful revelation of a program, but I would like my choice to make somewhat of a difference.

2) Would it be harder or easier to get a house as a Fall Extension Freshman if I applied for Theme housing? I would rather get a house- any house- than get into a theme housing if it comes down to that.

3) Do I have to apply again for housing in the spring?

4) Would I get last priority in enrolling in classes in the spring as a spring admit? (unrelated to housing question).

Don't have personal experience, but they do plan many activities/events and I think they go through with most if not all of it.

Usually people apply for theme housing after not getting housing in the dorms so I would imagine it's easier to get theme housing.

Nope, you get a housing contract for a full year.

Nope, you get the same priority as other students in your class.
