<p>Personally, I prefer toward, but towards is equally correct.</p>
<p>in the start of one paragraph i wrote something like this</p>
<p>having made a promise to him, i stood in village on top of grass</p>
<p>i needed in [a] village</p>
<p>Well, no point in sweating it. That said, while you didn’t finish your sentence, it is (at best) unclear how “on top of grass” was going to work well.</p>
