These are the courses I picked in sophomore year. Should I pick 2 more AP?

AP Environmental Science YR
AP World History YR
PAP Algebra 2 YR
PAP Chemistry YR
PAP English 2 YR
PAP Spanish 3 YR
Soccer Girls EQ2 YR
Soccer Girls NC YR

I am planning to replace the soccer (I already did in freshman, have a credit now and really not a player, just a JV mgr because I suck) with

AP Seminar (Capstone stuff, also gives me Speech credit)
AP Art History (Gives me Fine Arts credit also)

What do you all think?

If you are not a player or you are not interested in soccer, then AP seminar and AP Art History are great classes to take. Just make sure you can balance all those classes. But besides that, I think it looks good.

That’s too many APs for sophomore year.
In addition, you have to think on terms of progression.
Take a regular art class sophomore year, AP art history junior year.
As for APES v. AP seminar, it depends on your current workload, GPA, teacher recommendations.
But I’d strongly advise against replacing two sport periods with two extra AP classes.
You’re better off with 6 academic classes including two APs with sufficient time for ECs, fun, and sleep, than with 8 classes including 4 APs, as a sophomore…

I think that your course set for your sophomore year is a good one, depending on what APs you want to do next year. Do not take any more APs - two is more than enough.

if you enjoy soccer, don’t quit. If you don’t love it, then quit. Don’t make that decision based on college.

Thanks all. I added Choir for my art credit. My friends are there and its something fun. For the other one I replaced it with AP Psychology (really want this) and Professional Communication (Speech credit) which are 1 sem each. I honestly suck at soccer, they gave me a Mgr role in the JV team. I was picking balls from the side and was sitting cozy in the press box during games. But does it make me look like I cant stick to something? I am sticking with 2 clubs all 4 yrs

You’re fine, you don’t have to stick to a sport! You just have to find ONE thing you LIKE and do it well all 4 years. And… you’re allowed to change your mind: you may (say) love choir sophomore year and then realize Yearbook is where it’s at, and focus more on Yearbook. That’s why it’s important to “test out” several clubs freshman and sophomore year, so that you can find what you really like and get to a leadership role.
Your coursework sounds really well-balanced now.
