These Repeated Blows

ChickenOnRice,

you and me must be like long lost siblings lolz.

My issue is the same. My parents don’t understand this stuff, and then they just turn it on me, and then I just wallow in self pity and shame, and anger, and rage and a million other things.

I just keep saying to myself. One more year then i’ll be in college. I’ll be free. FREE!!!

lolz so yeah. Just wait till college. When the time comes get you butt out of there and never turn back, and always remember how your parents treated you, and never treat you kids the same way. That’s what I think, I think it everyday.

Ignore it. Pretend that you are doing what they want, for the time being, and then when the time of freedom comes… ;)

the thing is bro. i haven’t given up yet. i don’t want to cash in and wait till college to work hard.

I was typing a response but accidentally went back a page so it was lost. In short, I think you’re a genuinely intelligent person and somewhere buried in your rant there seems to be some motivation.

Good luck and hang on with what you do. Use college to reinvent yourself. Your scores aren’t bad; you can still get into a good college and transfer if you think your current scores don’t reflect your true ability.

I do think you should work on socializing, as your anecdote on moving indicates a bit of an extreme aversion. Also, when you talk to your guidance counselor, you should probably mention your mental and parental issues… he/she might be able to help.

@notanengineer: yeah def.
she also noticed this when i avoided talking to any of my teachers.
anyways since my grandmother just came to visit my parents will be off my butt for the mean time which is pretty nice~
