they've definitely made their decisions already!

Once mine cleared, it took about 24 hours for me to login to MyNEU. The package came a few days later (today, actually).

Thank you.

Hopefully this is good news for me... ahhh I have so many fingers and body parts crossed it's unbearable.

yeah all my friends that got accepted, their received materials got cleared. now, just cause theyre cleared doesnt mean u got accepted, it means theyve made a decision

Has anyone got rejected yet?

My list of materials just disappeared in CA!!! I can't log into myNEU yet, though...hopefully tomorrow! :)

Keep checking, everyone. I guess they've moved on to the west coast.

I'm in NJ and mine just dissappeared this afternoon! Hopefully tomorow I will have an acceptance through myNEU

I'm trying to understand why people think there is a connection between the items clearing and being accepted. Surely the items will clear out of rejected student's files as well. I am also wondering if perhaps the decisions are being released alphabetically - it would be interesting to see if the first people who heard have last names that start with, say, A-F.... just wondering.
I noticed that in the Fordman University discussion someone from Fordham's admissions commitee posted on the site just to clear up all the speculation. Someone could call NE's office and ask someone to do the same - it would sure save a lot of speculation and worry!

my last name begins with T so I doubt its alphabetical.

I just found out I got in!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Yeah, if your list is gone but you can't log in to myNEU, don't freak out. Just wait a day or two and try again. It didn't work at first for me.

Ooh and Northeastmom, log on again and look at the right side of the screen. My letter didn't say which school I was accepted to but there was a little icon at the right bottom of the screen saying "Welcome to the Bouve College of Health Sciences", maybe it's there for you as well.

acc_bound, Thank you. Actually, I just checked and it does not have the icon. It does have everything referring to the business school on the right page though! That was my son's first choice. I am sure he did get into the business school now, b/c on the right side (where it says "alerts") it invites him to make arrangements to visit with business school and sit in on a class (it says something like in conjunction with admissions and the school of business, or something like that).

:) Congrats to your son!

MY LIST IS DOWN!!!! FINALLY!!!! Thank God they've reached CA! I was getting SO worried!!!!

No myneu yet..... But according to this thread, that will come tomorrow.

I hope.

Has anyone here had the list clear and then NOT been able to login to the myNeu site within a day or two? Or received an actual rejection letter? That would really be the only way to know if there is any corelation between the list clearing and being accepted.

there is no correlation between the list clearing and being accepted... once ur list clears... it means theyve made a decision.... if u can log in to myneu within a day or two (maybe three), then it means ur in..but if u cannot, then sadly, you've been rejected

Thanks JAhmed, that's what I thought. It seemed like a lot of people were hanging on to the idea that the list clearing indicated acceptance. Has ANYONE actually received a rejection letter yet???

acc_bound, Congratulations to you!

I think only people in the MA area have received acceptance letters. Others have just found out thru the myneu website.

My son is from MA and he has heard nothing yet either way - his list is gone as of today but he's not able to log in.... luckily, he's not too stressed about it, but I am intigued with how this acceptance process works.

haha..im like..super stressed about neu..its my top choice. i dont any college compares to it simply cause of its co-op program... its amazing..makes every other college look ... pedestrian
