they've definitely made their decisions already!

Oh I'm with you JAmed, NU is tied for #1 with me. ACK, the wait is killing me. I feel like sending them a letter:

Dear Northeastern,

Do you liek me?
y/n?

Love and hugs,
Trella

PS - Pick yes.

LOL - - I just hope to God I get in. Even if I don't get a good financial aid package, I'll take out loans in full to pay for tuition because the experience you obtain at NEU is a college experience unlike any other.

from california, boarding school in colorado, list is gone. wait, wait, waiting game.

JAmed: I hope everything works out for you... You seem to know a lot about NEU. Do you have a brother or sister who went/goes there?

No I do not. However, I do have an elder brother and sister. Both have masters degrees. They said "dont waste money on undergrad cause it all comes down to grad school" and they are right to some extend. So that being said, if I don't get into NEU, I will go to a public state college (SUNY Buffalo) and save me the money. Because if it wasn't for the co-op program, I wouldnt wanna go to NEU either.

Just thought I'd chime in. I've been reading the thread for a while. I'm from Wisconsin. My list disappeared about 5 days ago and I was able to log on two days later. Don't know if that means anything in terms of Coastal trends. I haven't received an acceptance letter yet, though.

Jon

I will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you JAhmed! I think the only reason my son isn't so stressed out is that he doesn't really have a first choice at this point. He's waiting to see what happens before he will let himself get too excited about one place - I myself could never be that calm, so I think he's lucky.

So just wait and see - try to stay busy and distracted -you never know what will happen..

Yes I agree....thank you very much

One good thing about NEU is when you're doing co-ops, you're getting paid and you don't pay tuition, just room/board. That rules!

I'm like, an hour from Boston. Or one marathon length, to be exact. hah

has anyone been rejected? what did it look like? i might be able to answer this myself soon.

Think they'll send out rejection letters at a later time closer to April 1st?
Think they'll finish sending out acceptance letters before they do the rejected?

I don't think anyone has been rejected yet, but I know what it feels like being deferred... sooo it has been a long wait haha. Fresco, don't worry. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a rejection letter.

yeah a lot of college do that unfair thing of sending rejections last. not very nice. im assuming i'll be getting one.

so in other words, for those of us who haven't heard yet its very likely a rejection? Because it seems like a lot of people have heard.

kellyconn1, have your list cleared out yet?

How can one International student log into myneu if he doesn't have SSN number and last 5-digit code of address?I can't log in :((((((

yes the list cleared like a week ago, is that significant one way or another? I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE this!

Churalska - I found this on the admitted student site: "Have your social security number ready; International students must use their International student ID (900-), found on the second page of the acceptance letter." So I guess that means you have to wait? :(

List cleared, still can't log in. Ugggh...

Thank you so much, Shreegla ! Ya, I have to wait if I am admitted.

list has been cleared for 14 hours and counting. just wondering, how many people plan to attend if they are accepted?
