Thinking of starting a Politics Club. Advice?

So with the 2016 elections getting nearer, I was thinking of getting a political club started next year at my school to get fellow students interested in politics and participating in politics. One major goal of such a club would be a vote drive to get more seniors interested in voting in the next election as youth voter turnout is typically very low, and this will be the first election the majority of the class of 2016 will be able to vote in.

Would you guys recommend other possible activities? Also, how would you go about keeping such a club neutral and civil? Would hate for anyone to feel unwelcome in joining.

Hey, I’m the VP of the Young Democrats Club at my high school. I suggest contacting local voter registration to come in during lunch at your school for a week. It might costs money but I’m sure you can get funding. Also, you can make posters around the school supporting different campaigns. Lastly, if your school has some type of morning announcements, try using that to promote voter registration. Good luck
