This D is no big deal right?

I'm trying to transfer to SD or SB as a psych major. I took Stats and got a B in my first year. Last semester I decided to take calculus even though I'm terrible at it. I just find it interesting, and wanted to learn. I messed up a lot worse than I was expecting to and got a D. Now since I completed stats for my IGETC requirement, and calculus isn't one of the classes listed on assist.org, my D in calculus isn't going to destroy my chances or anything right? I'm not taking the class again since I honestly think I would just get another D.

Did you TAG those schools?

What is your GPA currently? It could affect you.

Btw why do you want to study Psych at SB or SD? I’m just curious. I’m a Psych major too applying to SD, but I really want to go to UCB or UCLA.

I did TAG those two schools, but I’ve never felt too sure about whether or not I actually met the requirements. I went to Cal Poly Pomona for a quarter and I know that having units from there disqualifies me from UCI’s TAG, but I don’t know about SD and SB.

My GPA right now is around 3.2-3.3 (I just checked my GPA for the first time in a while. I didn’t realize it had dropped so much :frowning: )

I want to go to a campus within a decent driving distance from my home (near LA). Going to LA would be perfect, but I have no chance of getting in. I applied to Irvine too, but don’t really care for the campus. I have zero interest in Riverside and didn’t apply. I think I’d enjoy going to SD or SB the most.
