<p>I accepted friend requests from people the summer before freshman year and now I don’t really know them but I’m still facebook friends…it’s a little strange walking past someone on campus and thinking “oh hmmm I see all your status updates…”
so I recommend against it unless it’s a future roommate/hallmate or someone studying the exact same thing you are.</p>

<p>but the emails are great, and CMail is a fantastic interface for all of your exciting Cornell messages.</p>

<p>^ Same here! I have way too many facebook friends of fellow 2013ers that I’ve never met in person, even though I see them around a lot. I kind of wish I’d just stuck to communicating through the Facebook groups and messages over the summer.</p>

<p>It’s funny you say that they forgot about us, I was sort of worried about whether or not it mattered when I submitted FAFSA, so I called the FA office, and this nice lady basically told me that essentially, ED kids are forgotten until April! lol</p>
