Yeah I have a feeling it's a no.

Don't lose hope, there could be one or two more spots... I'm thinking we are not going to hear until exactly June 31st...

I'm thinking the same thing. =/

There's no such date as June 31st.

"There's no such date as June 31st."

ahhhhhahahaha...this whole deal is too funny

@_@ i actually forgot about the Columbia waitlist until today. Wow it's ridiculous that they still haven't closed their waitlist.

I know someone who was put on an extended wailist back in may (the one that goes until mid july) so @_@ i'm starting to think i am on a non-priority waitlist that will only be looked at if columbia became the site of an infectious disease.

and since columbia has so pleasantly jerked me around for the past few months, i doubt i would even say yes if they took me of the wailist late. yeah go berkeley! :DDDD

Lmao you're right about the 31st aha well I guess that means there is exactly one week for them to tell us seeing as how they promised it would be before July 1st...I am an anxious wreck, everyone seems to be losing interest and all that but I have never felt more passionate about this school.

I seriously doubt any of us are getting off the list at this point. =/

Haha, as usual, I agree with Nixe.

She's a goddess.

Love ya. :)

I know I'm awesome, but go ahead and remind everyone else anyway. ^_~

Everyone keeps saying that but I don't think its true. They would have sent out a mass email earlier and been done with the whole thing if that had been the case.

I think they're just keeping us around to assure themselves all the spots are filled. They're just waiting to see if anyone else drops out.

Sooo there's still a chance, enough with the pessimism, you're making me depressed!

I thought someone said all the spots were filled?

They were lying. If I don't get into Columbia, I'm immediately going to start filling out my Wharton/Stanford/Yale transfer applications.

Aren't you happy with any of the schools you've gotten into?

I only got into Vanderbilt and I do not feel that I am a match at all and would prefer all 11 of the 12 schools I applied to over Vandy.

Oh wow, I didn't apply to that many schools. O_O And I only got into three, rejected at two, and waitlisted at one. xD Got into NYU, Boston U, and the University of Dallas.

I would have loved to go to another school I was admitted but I can't afford it at all. I ended up accepting a spot at my backup school, University of Miami. But it's still a great school and several of my friends are going to go there. It's almost too late for me to fall for Columbia now that I have grown attached to my school. But then again, getting accepted off the waitlist would be something worth bragging about :)

I didn't apply to a single safety. My matches were Middlebury and Vanderbilt and the rest were 6 ivies (including Wharton, but not Princeton or Brown), Duke, Williams, Amherst, Rice... Could have been even more of a disaster and I might not have gotten any acceptances...Oh well, even though I don't really like or want to go to Vandy at all, I can't complain, its still a pretty good school.
