So my roommate and I are living in Thomas Hall next year because of the prices. However, the price is lower because of the fact that there are no a/c units in the rooms. We lived in Broward our Freshman year where the a/c unit made it either a blizzard or a desert. Will not having a/c turn our room into an oven? We plan on buying fans, but I just want to make sure. Also, how are the rooms overall? Nice? Bigger? Do they have their own sinks? Any information is helpful. Thanks!

I have a friend who lived in a quad room in Thomas Hall for freshman year. With 4 fans in the room, the temperature was pretty cold (although I liked it that way) all the time. They eventually got an AC unit though, which made living conditions better, so I highly recommend buying one.

I haven’t seen any of the double rooms in Thomas, so unfortunately I can’t answer the rest of your questions. But, from if they’re anything like the double rooms in Fletcher, I’d doubt they’d be nice or have sinks, but they should be moderately sized, so you should have a decent amount of floor/storage space.
