<p>I'm thinking about applying for a transfer, as well. I'm perfectly happy with Davis it's just that I want to see where else I can get in. I'll probably be out of luck, though, because my transfrer GPA will be around a 3.2. When's the application due, anyway?</p>

<p>Davis = SB = Irvine, it's like the same school. You go to one, you're simulatenously at all 3 places at the same time. None of them are better than the other overall.</p>

Actually I got into SD and NYU as a freshman, but I chose to go to Davis for personal reasons...</p>

<p>Yep. And for the record, SD isn't terribly difficult to get into, either. I'm not a big fan of Davis, but for anyone that cares about rankings, they seem to be the only one actually going up this year.</p>

<p>In that case, they're all going downhill, but it's not worth transferring out unless you go for UCB or UCLA. UCLA transfer accpetance rate coming from UCD is ~27%. Give it a shot.</p>
<p>ucdavis went DOWN because they reported the wrong stats last year. 41/42 -> 48, but now it's still 47.</p>
<p>To those who want to transfer, where exactly do you want to transfer to? What school(s) are you applying to? And just for fun, major(s)?</p>
