three language major and pre-med?

hi i'm a junior and as everyone knows this is the year for college searching. i have a huge interest in languages and i want to learn three. (spanish, french, russian). i also want to be a doctor.

i found that University of Delaware has a three language major which i think is perfect for me.
so what i'm asking is if it is possible to do the three language major and pre-med?

if anyone has ever done the three language major i would love to hear your experiences.
pre-med experiences also.

no replies.

come on people!

k so im not a student there, i just applied, but what i learned in the college process is that pre-professionals (med and law) are not majors, they are tracks. at most schools if u choose prelaw or premed you are given an advisor that will help you choose what classes you should take and what to major in. for example i am thinking of pre-law, so my major might be political science. however i might want to do social work or counseling, so maybe i would major in psychology. you can major in languages and maybe do a double major with something more medical-related. once you graduate then you will go to graduate school and actually major in whatever kind of medicine you are interested in.

delaware is a great place if you have many interests (again based only on what ive heard and what the school told me). they are very flexible and allow you to take classes outside your college and major.

If you are going to do pre-med that is great, I personally would not do three language majors on top of that.

thanks for all your advice. it's really helping me out here.

hmm, what if i majored in one language and minored in the other two i wanted to learn. i'm generally interested in languages like i've stated before and learning these languages will open up new gateways for me in other countries. maybe i don't get into an american medical school i'd have other ways of pursuing a medical career. Also, i've always played with the idea of living permanently in one of the European countries.

i can't shake my interest in languages and the aforementioned possibilities make it even harder not to pursue fluency in the languages i want.

thank you all again for the advice.

no problem good luck
