ti-89 for AP stats?!

my teacher taught us the AP Stats course using a set of ti83 programs. i only have an 82 and am not sure if his programs will work with the 82

would it be worth it to find programs for the 82 instead of trying to use the 89 for the test??

Would it be possible to borrown a TI 83 from a friend or the school? My school loaned out calculators to everyone for the test in case they didn't have one or it broke during the test. Most people I know get confused trying to learn how to use an 89. 82s and 83s are much similar (and 84s).

i've heard that the ti-83 is better for stats than ti-89

is there some set of programs(for ti-83/84) for AP STATS??
i'm selfstudying (i just started) and my school/teacher are no help on this.

anyhelpsarewelcome :D!

Not programs like the ones you download, but if you use stat-> tests, there's quite a few different, useful tests on there. stat->calc also has regressions

hm i guess ill try to borrow one then... only problem is i wont have it to practice with... i have zoned out all year and need to teach myself the entire course very quickly.. not having a calulator to practice with will suck

maybe you can find an emulator online?

yeah i think you can find an emulator on www.ticalc.org
