State your grade too!

Grade 11,
3 hours.

senior
from 15-30 minutes on a normal day, sometimes none at all.
near the end of the week i'll do all my euro reading, and that's maybe an hour of reading, usually spread out across the weekend though.

Well, it depends -- is HW the stuff you do at home or is it just any assignment?

I manage to do everything during my study hall so I don't actually do any work at home.

Zero daily.

less than an hr daily =D
i think my school is a joke, everything's too easy, and i dont take school seriously =S

pulchristudious?

grade 12- maybe 1-1.5 hours daily max

...

What the--

Is everyone here all geniuses or what?

Christ u_u

3 hours: Senior. Sometimes more. IB at my school's really hard; and considering the witch teaching my history class is also my diploma caretaker, I can't afford NOT to study up
And Chemistry. The class just DRAINS me. >_< 3 hour each major lab report (which is once a week, min) since they're all IA's. 4 hour for a study session for major test.
And Math...the professor is CRAZY! He assigns 40-something problems every night. So I waste 3 hours of my life on trying to mush through the billions of problems.
And finally, TOK (theory of knowledge). The most USELESS class that one cannot avoid do to beaucratic constraints of the IB program...with the MAXIMUM homework. If I wanted to learn how to BS, I'd have actually taken some other useful class.
Oh, and as a PS, French. It's a tedious work. Just blind copying the homework takes one and a half hour. Just scribbling down the words. (hits Shaums)

*I'm complaining a lot because I am currently trying to do homework.

Grade 9 = 0 hours
Grade 10 = 0 hours
Grade 11 = between 1-3 hours at least (SAT prep also), even more time the day before a test

This is partially responsible for the downfall of my gpa and now I'm really worried about my educational future.

Junior

Mon-Thu: 3-4 Hours
Fri: 0 Hours
Sat-Sun: 6-8 Hours

Oh right, forgot to mention:

Friday nights:
College Apps: 5 hours
School work: 0 hours
SAT Lit: 1.5 hour

I love Fridays ;_;

Thursday would have been hell. English AP apparently thinks it's the only class we take. Writing over 1500 words (bare minimum. Average is about 2300 words I say) in one night that synthesize 3 plays and a 100 page criticism is absolutely horrific. Thanks god we got a 3 day extension after the site we were supposed to use crashed.

Other than that, I usually have around 1-3 hours. Biology reading takes a long time to understand.

How do you guys have so little homework? I have easily 4-5 hours a day, more on weekends.

Yeah, why do you guys have so little homework??

Junior Year: 7 to 8 hours everyday

Horrible...

Ah, I forgot, I'm a senior. That number doesn't include time spent on college apps.

0-1 hr, and that's mostly from AP Psych.
AP Physics E&M - always finish worksheets at school
AP Calculus BC - she never gives HW, and when she does, it's like 10 problems from the book that I can finish in my "filler" class.
Eco/AP Gov - we are only doing Eco in the first semester, so it's all basic notes, just study for ten minutes if there's a test
AP English - when we do have HW, I don't really count it as HW because the reading usually consists of reading, and it's pretty enjoyable.
AP Psych - ugh, we have to read and take notes and notecards, takes like 30 minutes for 5 pages, very troublesome

I guess this year I don't have as much HW because I've been paying attention in class. Last year, I would daydream all day, and I'd have to do all my HW at home and refer to notes, and I would never understand anything. It would stress me out, and I'd start procrastinating on the computer and staying up til 1. It was a disaster.

I have about 2 1/2 hours of homework a night if I don't get distracted. I usually end up getting distracted and it turns into 3 hours of homework.

Most kids in my grade that take the most rigorous academic classes have 4 hours, but they don't use their time wisely (except for the few that are obsessed with getting a grade above a 98 in every class)

An average of an hour a day for a full time college load, not evenly spread out (I lol at my teachers when they say you need to spent 9 hours on their homework per week, just for that class...)

9th - 30 minutes to 1 hour
10th - 3 hours
11th - 8+ hours, seriously
12th - 1 hour at most, not counting college apps...***.

I don't know what to do with myself without any homework to finish! D:

I'm a sophomore, by the way. I have supposedly the "most advanced" classes at my school, but probably nothing worth anything.

And it isn't because I'm a "genius" (LOL I have 2 C's and B's, buddy, the only person on CC with those grades), but because I refuse to do hw 60% of the time (last year it was a good 70% in 3 subjects, always had an F in hw). Too boring and waste of my time imo.

The few occasions where I do hw, I do it at school. Hence...the days where I sit and do my hw, i can probably count them on my fingers.
