<p>I've noticed some postings earlier in this admission cycle that there's usually an admitted student event of some art, usually in April? Does anyone have any detail or date for this yet?

<p>lightingmom, if it’s still done the same way this year as in past years, it’s by invitation so your student will receive an invitation, probably within the next week or so. Unless something has changed, it is not for all accepted students.</p>
<p>A call to the Tisch Office of Student Affairs might be helpful. They’re the ones who organize these events. 212-998-1900</p>
<p>@Alwaysamom- Thank you so much! I also just realized there’s some info on the website for admitted students-sorry I didn’t notice that earlier. But, it sounds like you’re saying that there’s something more that Tisch does for their students? All very exciting! Thank you again for the info.</p>

I went last year and it got me really pumped for NYU-if you have the funds to go, i would definitely encourage it!</p>
<p>We couldn’t go last year because my daughter had a performance that day. But we traveled to NYU later in the week and had a private meeting with the admissions director, and tours of Tisch and the studio my daughter was assigned to. It was a regular school day so we got to talk to students in the halls, etc. We actually found that more valuable than being at a large event geared to all accepted students.</p>
<p>Thanks everyone- received the invitation and if I had been the tiniest bit patient I see that all would’ve been revealed, haha.</p>
