<p>Hi, I'm a high school senior in California.. and I applied to NYU Tisch for film& television.. A few days ago, I received an invitation to Saturday at the Square but unfortunately, I accidentally misplaced it and I can no longer find it!! AHH!! I heard from my peers that the invitation--although not official--is a first notification that I might qualify for the school.</p>

<p>Did anybody else receive this?</p>

<p>Could someone please e-mail me with the information that was on the card? I remember it was april 7th? and had directions to the school from the airport?</p>

<p>I really can't find it! I think my mom tossed it! AHH!!</p>

<p>By plane: To La Guardia, Kennedy, or Newark Airport, then bus to Grand Central Station and cab or Lexington Avenue subway downtown (see by subway)</p>

<p>By car: From the north or northeast, New York State Thruway, which becomes the Major Degan Expressway in the Bronx, to the Triborough Bridge, across to the FDR Drive in Manhattan, south to Houston Street, then west to La Guardia Place (two blocks west of Broadway), then north three blocks to Washington Square.</p>

<p>By subway: Lexington Avenue local to Astor Place Station, walk west on Eighth Steret to University Place, then south to Washington Square.</p>

<p>Broadway local to Eighth Street Station, walk west on Eight Street to University Place, then south to Washington Square.</p>

<p>Sixth Avenue or Eight Avenue to West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station, then south to Washington Square Station, walk east on West Fourth Street or Waverly Place to Washington Square.</p>

<p>there's an nyu/tisch forum that has a lot of posts about the saturday at the square thing, so it might help you to go and check that out. i am going, too, and it sounds incredible- from what everyone is saying it is a sure sign that you're in, so congratulations!</p>

<p>Parents are invited. Knowing what I know about the Tisch people, I would guess bring a friend should be no big deal. They are friendly people. I read from other postings by those who attended last year's S@S, prospective students and parents will be split up into different sessions.</p>

<p>yea, i got the same confirmation reply. my mom is coming with me, but they didn't ask for that kind of stuff, so i'm assuming they don't need an exact head count...</p>
