I just wanted all of you who have showed so much kindness and good will to know I didn’t get into Amherst off of the deferred list. Although I was bummed for a brief number of hours I also wanted you all to know that I did get into:

I am thrilled with my colleges and will now have to figure out where to go after doing accepted student visits. I wanted to thank all of the parents like ejr, Grace and others for their prayers and love. I want to thank all the students who I met on my visits to Amherst and those CC students who have been so helpful. Best of luck to all of you guys who are going to Amherst next year. Take care guys!!

Congratulations on your acceptances. I knew you'd have terrific choices, and you do! The schools are so different, too -- choosing may be difficult, but I think you'll learn a lot about yourself in the process.

I join erj's comments. You have really across on this board as a distinct and wonderful person. It's so characteristic of you that you reached out and thanked people you've met along the way. I am confident that you will have an amazing and productive four years at whichever college you choose. The college that gets you will be quite lucky.

Good luck with your decision-making. You are very fortunate to have a thoughtul, supportive father who will be a wise sounding board. I can imagine the two of you having fun as you make your lists, ask your questions, and do your visits. Treasure these exciting days.

Have fun with this process. I'll eagerly await hearing what you've decided.

Way to go, Dana! So glad you got into Wesleyan. You really have been the kindest student I have come across on this whole CC trip...See ya any day now...
