NBZ: Are you willing to share your stats such as ACT, SAT I (by section), SAT IIs, APs and any other info.? Congratulations! Did you tell Kenyon that it was your top choice?

switch7: Are you willing to share your stats? I am sorry that you were not accepted. Was Kenyon your first choice school, and, if so, did you let them know?

Kenyon Admissions today stated that RD decisions will all be mailed out on Friday, March 23. Three posters claim that RD decisions are already out. Could it be that just some clear admit or reject decisions have been sent? Scandal-less: What is the source of your info.? Any stats of admitted, deferred or rejected applicants would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

ummmmmmmm...........I was rejected too..........loved the rejection letter though-it was preety good.........

AHHH! I can't believe people are getting letters! Does this mean mine will probably come today??

...My mail doesn't come until 3 or 4 PM. :(

they emailed me the letters...

Garrity: my stats: SAT I: CR 580 M 680 W 700
GPA: top 10%

garrity, i appled rd and have received kenyon's decision. i have also spoken to miss jennifer britz. i have no info on the acceptance rates

switch7: Thanks for the info. My best guess on the info. posted is that the CR score was the deciding factor as your math and writing scores are quite good. Did you let Kenyon know that it was your first choice school? This is very important to LAC admissions officers. If I may ask, where else did you apply and what is your intended course of study (major)? scandel-less: I assume by your prior post that you were either waitlisted or accepted; could you please clarify as I am wondering if only clear admit or denys were notified so early. And would you share your stats so that as I advise others I can do so with some very recent info.? Thank you.

switch7: You got an email? How long ago? Should I have gotten one? I didn't.

Garrity: i've applied to bates, hamilton, brandeis, union, bard...
major - political science, economics

hav u received the letter from kenyon, garrity

jared 24: i got an email on march 6th i believe..
i'm from nepal, may be they're notifying international students through emails.. i'm not that sure

Oh, ok. That makes sense.

Scandal-less, titanium, NBZ... are you internationals also?

yes. i am an international too........from Nepal..applied for an almost full ride.......

i am international, from Bangladesh, but I didn't get any email notification; I only got the mail.

garrity: stats: more than 2000 on my sats. i follow an o/a level system.

jared: yes

Wow Valerie...

I just popped into the Kenyon thread, and I was really surprised to read your post. I have a college in mind that I want to go to really really really badly...to a point where I believe so strongly that, that campus was made for me. But i'm afraid that i'll be stuck in a situation where the college denies me because of mere stats. I'm really so happy for you, and find it a comfort that just because you're denied doesn't mean you can't transfer in. Atleast we still have that option...but I do wish so much to get into my dream college, and as I read your posts, I imagined how my reaction would be if I were in your place for my college. I'd cry every day. But you still hung on!! For everyone else out there whether you may be a junior or senior, have hope and believe in yourself because they're always a solution to everything! Thanks for the inspiring story. Sigh...back to work now!!

Good luck to everyone waiting on their RDs. Usually Kenyon emails all international students to let them know a little beforehand so that they can deal with all the bureaucracy to go abroad, while regular decisions are mailed late March.

To the kids that applied from Nepal, shoot me an email if you have any questions/concerns: I go here and would like to know what's going on with you guys.

If anyone else has any questions/concerns about Kenyon, feel free to write me an email and I would be glad to help.

nice to see Nepalese on these thread....and swithch7, how's life........most qualified Nepalese are not getting admission because if one person scores high on the SAT's, almost all others are denied admission...its sad to see that people who score 80+ percentages in the ISC/+2 are denied admission because of low SAT scores and 60 percentages people are accepted because they score high on the biased test call the SAT.......I hope this situation changes.........and to people from other parts of the world-scoring 80+ percentages is like getting a 2250+ on the SAT and 60 percentage is like a 1700..............or below
