I'm sick of seeing this question pop up all the time.

Generally, you should expect a decision about a month and like two weeks after ALL parts of your application is recieved. It varies slightly, but that's a ROUGH estimate of when you will recieve your decision. Now chill and be patient :P

I don't see why this thread is "unneccesary". Instead of having multiple threads popping up about the same topic, this one thread will answer the same question...

Zkevin I understand your frustration, but put yourself in other people's position. You already heard from U of M (I know a deferral is not the optimal response), but others haven't heard anything. Posting on this forum, prospective students may find answers to their questions or in the worst case scenario find people having the same problem.

Alright, I agree with Kevin; you people need to chill the hell out. I didn't get a decision for 5 months and I never freaked out. Instead criticizing him I think some of you need to relax. It's not the end of the world if you don't get in.

What is interesting is the fact that there is a range from 1 month to 5 months. Patience is a virtue.........that most of us dont have. Waiting a month and a few days now, but im not really anxious, because Im flipping out about my ED decision which comes tomorrow.

I'm posting due to the fact that tons of ppl are asking when they can expect a decision like...before they even have their app marked as "complete" or within 2-3 weeks of having their app "complete".

It makes plenty of sense to be posting asking why you haven't recieved a decision if your app has been complete for like...2-3 months, but people asking why they don't have a decision after like 2-3 weeks...? Now instead of having the people who ask when they can expect a decision after their app is finished in 2-3 weeks, they won't be asking until maybe 2ish months :S

my app has been complete since october 25... so we are approaching 2 months now... my mom called and spoke with the man who is reviewing my application. Unfortunately for my case, i applied to the kines program and i will have 3 people review my application before a decision is made. The man said that i should expect a decision early january. I hope this information can be helpful to all of you people waiting for descion like me. Maybe its because of the program you applied to, or perhaps they are just slow. Either way ... we have to wait
