I realize that this year's supplement is the same as last's.

I'm an '09ner starting early on apps since I'm going to be really busy in the fall. I am filling out the really short questions on the app. I was just wondering what Stanford meant by "two lines." (D'uh, they mean two lines.) But I was told they get a printed application (like .pdf-printed) so if that is true, if I go over two lines, it might not show. (I feel like Stanford won't understand my summer activities unless I explain them, and that'd go over two lines in the box.) Would it be safe to assume I won't go over the maximum as long as I keep with the 300 character limit?

Yeah, this is kinda a stupid question, but I'd appreciate a response.

CommonApp online will let you view your complete app in PDF form.
(to skip a particular entry just write something like "need to fill in later")
and keep moving to the last page and get your pdf preview.

What you will find is that the app online automatically truncates at various
points- not necessarily in keeping with the guidelines (2 lines or whatever).

It is quite prudent to start in summer to fill out your apps. I applied
RD with the Arts Supp deadline (11/15) last year and started in the
first week of July. (admitted as a likely to Stanford in February)

I just made my answers as long as the character limit would allow. I recommend finding out what that limit is for each ques (I think it varied) and using all of the characters that you need up to the limit.
Good luck!
