To sleep, or not to sleep... that is the question.

^Oh, I've done that quite a bit -- back when I used a consistent alarm I would wake up precisely one minute before it every single day.

Then earlier this year after I abandoned my alarm clock I had this 3 month period where I would wake up at exactly 5:27 on the minute every morning. That was interesting.

I once woke up and ate breakfast before I looked at the clock and realized it was 3:00 AM, not 6:00. Then I went up back to bed and slept until my alarm actually rang. :) (can't remember if I ate a second breakfast)

Funnily enough the only time I feel good waking up early is with 12-hour jet lag. Jet lag makes me wake up at 7:00 AM without feeling sleepy for half a week and it is fantastic.

LOL yeah, once I got up at like 1:30AM and got all ready for school and didn't even feel any different than normal [although I'd only been asleep for like 45 minutes?! hahaha wow.], and then FINALLY figured it out and was so annoyed that I went back to sleep and came into school late that day. Lolz

I'd definitely go back to sleep. No question about it.

sleep FtFw!

I go back to sleep even if there is 1 min. left...

I used to wake up before my alarm clock rung. But, those were the good days when my body actually had a fully functional internal clock. This was pre-AP ages. Now, these days I'm so out of it..lol.

6:05? What? People wake up that early?

LOL when I was in the public school system, I woke up at 5:45, was out the door at 6:00, and got to school (a 1 mile walk) by 6:15! And school didn't start until 7:20 . . . !

I sleep, actually I stay awake a few moments until it goes off hit the snooze and then go back to sleep.

Nice to know that you're extremely very abnormally bizarre. ;)

I get to school an hour early.

7:00, school starts at 8:00

"Sleep is for the weak."

Ah, in those 7 minutes...I just go back to sleep.

My school starts at 8. I set my alarm for 6:50 everyday but I have no idea why because I hit the snooze every single day and end up getting up at 6:59.

I'd go back to sleep with 30 seconds left till my alarm goes off.

what's sleep?

I lay there and enjoy the warm comfort.
(and sometimes end up falling asleep!)

I wouldn't even be able to make this decision consciously. It takes like two minutes after I actually get out of bed for me to be awake and self-aware and capable of thinking.

Wait? get out of bed early? I never, ever, ever, even let that cross my mind. Using as much time as you have to sleep is always the proper thing to do in the morning. Getting tardys is more exciting, anyways.

^ Agreed.

I've quit doing that mad dash down the hall. I figure mad dash, or slow joyful jaunt, I'm going to be late either way. I might was well enjoy my 15 minutets extra of getting to class. Grab a drink. BUy something from the vending machine.

I actually have some teachers that see that you made an effort to run they won't give you the tardy, so I do run sometimes.

Although, I'm not tardy too often. At my school too many tardies can equal loss of credit...uhg.

Lololololol, "warm comfort"... does anyone else here sleep with their windows open?

It's usually in the low fifties in my bedroom when I wake up, and all I have over me is my skimpy coconut fiber throw and a down blanket, so it's quite unpleasant when I first open my eyes; really, it leaves me no choice but to skip over to the shower and warm myself there...
