To take or not to take AP US History. . .

My school offers AP US History, but I was given the option to make my life easier and take an online dual-enrollment class at my local CC called "American History I" which covers half of the Apush curriculum. I would then take American History II the spring of my senior year to compensate for my AP US History credits.

Would top universities like it more if I take AP US history? Or does it really matter if I replace it with two CC American History courses?

Thanks.

Bump please. I register for classes on Monday

It really doesn’t matter. Both of these options show that you are electing to take challenging classes.

If you take the CC course I’d still try to take the AP exam, as scoring well on it would lend legitimacy to the course,
