Anyone know if it's true that if you take SAT Subject Tests and don't do well, you will hinder your chances of being admitted if your GPA is less than stellar as in my current cumulative of 3.35? I took the SAT on Oct. 6th and am hoping I increased to close to a 2000 but colleges see your SAT Subject Test scores as they cannot be cancelled....is that correct? None of the schools I am applying to (UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Asheville, Wingate, Elon, Appalachian, require subject tests for admissions but I was told if I take them and do well it my help my chances for Carolina which is my reach school. My EC's and teacher recs are very good and am currently working on my essay. Thanks!

So....everyone is as clueless about this as I am?
