for the weird function question..i believe this was the actual question

Is the fuction: y=f(x)?

A) constant<---what i chose
B) linear
C)cubic
D)quadratic
E) trigonemtric

i chose "constant" because wouldn't f(x) = the Y value of the function, aka a NUMBER. so wouldn't it be constant because it would make it like y=3, or some arbritrary number? how can you deduce that it would be trigonmetric?? Did i totally miss read the question? did it gave u an equation for f(x)?

its trigonometric..it says so in my Cracking the ACT 06 edition book..i remember since i looked at that in the morning right b4 the exam and it came up on the exam 2...score!

i think they had an unproportional amount of difficult questions on themath section, and that we did not have adequate time to complete them all

and for the science, i felt like it was really easy...all the answers were simply in the text and charts given, its just a amtter of interpreting them?

I agree. I bought the “Real ACT Prep Guide” and took 2/3 of the practice tests and felt real confident. Plus, I went over the practice passage on the ACT website. This test was definitely a lot harder than anything I expected from the real tests of past year’s. Especially the math section.

oh wow, that is mildly funny. The whole time I thought I literally bombed the math section because none of my answers corresponded to this thread. Thanks user8324…
