tOfficial I HATE JUNIOR YEAR thread.

I hate ap lang.
T_t

I feel really down lately :frowning: I’m getting overanxious and freaking out about everything

when i feel down, i usually go for a drive (HELL YEAH I GOT MY LICENSE) or listen to music. it’s important to remember to take breaks, no matter how much work you have.

^ Me, my sister and my mom are going on a walk tomorrow. I don’t even want to think about school or anything related.

Junior year wasn’t that bad for me. If I had to rank from most difficult to least:
senior year so far> sophomore year > junior year > freshman year
And I had more APs/honors in junior year than in sophomore year.

My Pre-Cal teacher decided to assign problems #2-134 even for tonight’s homework. I’m a slow worker.

I’m only on #60. It’s almost 10 o’clock. I haven’t done any of my other homework.

I need my beauty sleep!!! D’:

OMG YES RANT THREAD. Haha, seriously though junior year sucks. 5 APs woohoo. I took 3 last year so I figured it wouldn’t be THAT much of a leap this year, but oh my gosh. Junior year sucks. I have tests, multiple quizzes, in-class essays, and DBQs almost every single day. Surprisingly I didn’t have any today, I think that was the first time in 3 weeks where I didn’t have some form of assessment.

Is anyone getting any sleep? -___-

4 APs…it’s hell. I lift everyday after school for basketball too so I’m not home til around 6 everyday. Plus I work on Wednesdays. Oh and sometimes we workout for basketball before and after school. I get over two hours of reading for AP U.S. History every night. I get about an hour of AP Chem. 2-3 hours of AP Lang every night and I round it out with an hour plus of AP Calc, not to mention Spanish 3 and Astronomy homework nearly everynight. I don’t go to bed until 3 am most nights, and for morning workouts i wake up at 4:45 am. Wednesdays are the worst, seeing as i work til 8:30 no matter what. Most Wednesdays I don’t sleep.

PSAT is next month. I have the whole blue book but i havent done a thing in it. I just don’t have the time, and I try my best to have a social life but it just won’t work. But, hey, my only non-A is an A- in AP Lang! (Summer reading…which i didnt read…kicked my butt). I hate junior year.

^ wow man … I thought my life sucks … Until I read yours

yeah my social life is literally turning to *****,

Sometimes, when work conflicts with your EC’s, it’s always best to manage time and take off the EC’s… You’re not managing your time well, but if you’re doing what you think is best for you, which I don’t believe, then do it.

@MichiganMan, Fantasyvesperia

Good ideas! I’m just freaking out that I won’t be able to meet any of my goals and whatnot. Ugh -_-

^ Same, let’s just see what happens~ lol.

HII.

I just wanted to encourage you guys a bit. You’ll all live through this, really!! I took 7 APs junior year and walked around like a zombie at school most of the time, but all my friends were going through the same thing and that made me feel better. Not going to lie, I definitely watched Thai Life Insurance commercials at night all the time just so I could cry and let it all out, but challenging yourself is rewarding! :stuck_out_tongue: I suggest lots of coffee and mutual complaining. Good luck to you all!! hehe

I just dropped down from College Physics to Intro to Physics, so I’m very, very happy… But yeah, the college process is daunting, and I REEEEALLY need to boost my GPA.

jeez, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET INTO COLLEGE IF ALL OF YOU ARE TAKING 5+ APS AND MAINTAINING ALL A’S?!

After my physics test, i doubt I have an A…

HOLY BANANAS. IM BET IM NOT GETTING INTO COLLEGE I WANT TO GO SINCE I WAS, LIKE, 5 BECAUSE OF MY JUNIOR YEAR. why the -beep- does it have to be so hard ;o;

Guys… If you think junior year is hard… First semester senior year will destroy you.

^My plan is to take an easier schedule and finish my SAT and SAT IIs this year (may be wishful thinking, though) so I can focus on college apps next year.
