Too late to apply?

I've already applied to 11 schools, but I have 3 leftover transcripts that I ordered from my school's registrar and I figure may as well put them to use by applying to three more places.

Penn State (and some other Big 10 schools) was originally on my list until the college counselor I saw shot it down, but I still really want to apply. However, my stats for the University Park campus are less than stellar. I have a 1950 SAT score and only a 3.3 GPA.

Should I apply regardless? I know I missed the early action deadline but I still like the school well enough. I guess I just would like to hear honest opinions about people will less-than-wonderful GPAs applying. Thank you!

Why not? You have nothing to lose and maybe something to be gained.

Eh I suppose, it’s just my GPA that I’m worried about! I know that Penn State bases a lot of their decisions off of your GPA so I don’t know how much my test scores, ECs, and essay can make up for it.
