Too late to take GRE?

I’m starting to panic about my GRE scores for my PhD applications which are due December first. Score reports take 10-15? I know it’s late to be thinking about it, but I was just curious what other people have done.

Also, I’m only concerned about one section of the test. I tried to find it on the GRE site, but couldn’t find anything about taking only one section of the GRE and not the whole thing? Is that possible? Or do you have to send in test scores all from one exam?

You have to take the entire test and send scores from only one exam. Graduate schools do not superscore, sorry.

@Bioenchilada is correct, You would have to take the entire test. My daughter took the GREs on November 8, 2016 and her scores showed up today, November16. But DD stated that it still said ‘pending’ as far as scores being reported to the schools she send them to. Therefore, it could take up to another 2 or 3 business days for her scores to get to schools.

@Cboardman You could take the chance if you signed up to take the test no later than Saturday, November 19. But also keep in mind, next week is a holiday weekend.
