Too many forms for teachers to fill out

I’m kinda worried that I’m gonna bother my teachers by asking for all these recs. I feel like only applying to TASP, MITES, and Questbridge (not really a summer program) because I don’t wanna inconvenience them.

Anyone else feel like this? I mean, with college apps, the teacher only fills it out once and it’s given to every college.

Yes, thst was challenging for my kid, too. She tried to give the teacher the whole list and information in one email so they could see the different formats/dates/etc.

I’m in this boat too with Simons Clark YSP RSI etc. I sent each of my teachers a long email with all the info, my resume, etc. and basically said if you can only do 1 or 2 recs that’s totally fine (I have other backup teachers from previous years). Thankfully since I asked them before break they said they’d have enough time to do all of them. If you don’t think your teachers will have enough time between now and the deadline you can distribute them between more other teachers.

@coffeeaddicted Could the teachers theoretically submit the same rec to each summer program?

@neoking it depends on the format. Some of them include a questionnaire and a letter, and the letter can usually overlap. However for applications like those for Clark and Simons they’re too specific to overlap
