<p>What happens if you report them in the common app? I never heard they actually counted towards the decision, but I'm growing skeptical because there is a space for it...</p>
<p>Colleges do look at AP scores if you choose to supply them. Getting a 5 or 4 on the AP exam will tell colleges that your A in the class actually means something. Or that your class was very hard and you got a 5. It gives them further indication of how your grade in a specific AP class compares to what you actually learned. I’d report all AP exam scores if they are 3 or greater.</p>
