hmm…

 1. got a full time job that I’m super excited about, starting in August
 2. graduated (last semester I had the best semester GPA in my college career, so I was definitely happy about that. Also successfully completed my 2 majors, 2 specializations, and honors college requirements)
 3. did pretty well at branching out and making new friends (while still maintaining friendships with my besties)
 4. Successfully organized a bar crawl, job updates, chicago and detroit trips for my Econ Association
 5. Had a great time in my schools’ student sections for both football and basketball (MSU vs. Wisconsin game was a definite highlight)
 6. Established better relationships with my professors (one in particular whom I intend to keep in touch with well after graduation)

1) Went skydiving. It was pretty amazing, but I probably would never do it again.

2) Developed an anxiety disorder. It sucks, but I feel it’s given me a better understanding of mental illness. It also confirmed that I have an underlying medical condition, so hopefully I can begin treatment soon.

3) Declared a math major, but decided I absolutely hate it. I’m glad I figured this out my freshman year before I dedicated too much time to it. I still thinking about what major to switch into.

4) Tried out some extracurriculars. Ended up quitting fencing (because one of the coaches was obnoxiously condescending) but decided I really want to continue with the TV crew.

5) Became more independent and outgoing.

1) Made some great friends
2) Got accepted into my uni’s business program
3-5) dunno

It was pretty uneventful.

1) Accepted to UPenn and will be attending there this fall
2) Gained several new friends and maintained/gained good relationships with my professors
3) Told the guy I have a huge crush on that I liked him- and the feeling is mutual (although lopsided in my favor), but we’re just being friends now because I’m going to UPenn and we’re taking it one step at a time
4) Maintained my 4.0
5) Performed onstage in a dance ensemble for my college’s concert

@27dreams,

Yeah, you too! Fight on!

Congrats on his panic attack?

^no, haha. Congrats on getting into USC as a transfer student.

I had to think a lot about this one, but I think I’ve got it:

Went abroad and had the most incredible experience. It was a marine biology program in the South Pacific, and I saw some amazing things, and made some awesome new friends. Basically, it was the best three months of my life.

Learned that it’s OK to get a B sometimes when I’ve literally worked my a** off. I had a really unreasonable professor in my physics class in the fall and I worked harder than I ever have for…a B. In a way, it was nice - it took a lot of the pressure off because I truly realized that some things aren’t completely in my control.

That being said, this past term, I got a 4.0 (my school’s on trimesters - physics was on the fall, abroad in winter, came back and took classes in the spring) by taking classes that were challenging but that I genuinely enjoyed.

Found two different paths that I’m really interested in. The first is genetics - I think I could do genetics research later in life and be really happy with it. I took a genetics course this term, and while it was hard, something just clicked for me, and I really enjoyed it. I think it translated into my grades, too, because my professor just emailed me to tell me that he was impressed at how well I did and that he’d love to write me a letter of recommendation if I ever need one, which was awesome. The second was law, which is pretty much a 180, but I took a constitutional law class that I really, really enjoyed and did surprisingly well in. The professor told me to consider law school, and I’ve been thinking about it more and more.

I made a lot of new friends in different social groups.

Wow. That was more detailed than I intended. Haha.

Ha ha.

Decided to take a semester off, which I promised myself I’d never do. (It was a great decision, although now I’m ready to return in the fall.)

Decided to transfer to a college close to where I grew up, which I also promised myself I would never do.

Got an internship with my state’s senate, which was amazing, and has inspired me to follow politics, and maybe eventually work for my state’s Department of Performance Evaluations.

Met my current boyfriend. (After promising myself I wouldn’t be in another relationship soon.) And he’s absolutely what I need right now, and exactly what I’ve been wanting in a boyfriend/relationship.

Realized that I’m severely passionate about LGBT issues in my state.
