Top or bottom

Ok, that sounded dirty...so, given the choice between the top bunk or bottom bunk, which would you pick?

I'm a top bunk kind of person, because I hate it when people sit on my bed. Also I'm short, so I don't have to worry about my head hitting the cieling.

after a long night of partying are you really going to want to have to get up to the top bunk? lol.

Top.

Because it's less public.

I personally prefer the bottom. I move around a lot in my sleep and I am scared to death of falling off that top bunk in the middle of the night. I was in a quad/built up lounge last semester and it had bunks. I had one of the bottom ones. The girl above me went out and got drunk occasionally. Nothing like waking up to the bed shaking as she tried to crawl up onto her bed, completely wasted. But I still wouldn't have traded for the top

Bottom. It's easier when you have some drinks in you, when you want to make your bed, and less scary if you're sharing your bed with someone. For privacy, you can hang a sheet around the frame of the top bed and make your own quaint little fort. This is also handy if your roommate wants to keep the lights on, and you want to sleep.

bottom. too lazy to climb up stairs.

/has a bunk bed.

Hmmmm, depends on my mood and her mood at the time..........

i say bottom, especially after a night of partying..could be dangerous..dont want to fall of and get hurt

i never stayed at a dorm, but do they even still have bunkbeds? when i visited my friends that stays in one, ther were 2 separate beds

^^^ That depends entirely on the dorm, the type of room, and the type of furniture you get. Also depends on what you and your roommate want. First semester I was in a quad/built up lounge, so it was two sets of bunk beds. That was the only way to fit 4 beds in there. Now I'm in a room that is a double, that has bunkable beds, but because we were in bunks last semester we're choosing to leave them as two separate beds.

BOTTOM. easier access, and no ceiling-induced claustrophobia.

I definitely prefer the bottom. The top feels so lonely and isolated, and I find the nice little "enclosure" of the top bed, the wall, and my bed to be cozy.

Bottom, because if there was ever a bug on the ceiling I would freak out if it was less than a foot above my face:)

depends on the room layout and how low the ceiling is for me

bottom... most schools you can probably have the 2 beds in the room bunked, or not, whichever you choose. They can be kinda a pain to change from bunked to unbunked and the other way around though.

I would have to say bottom. Im tall and I would annoy me to no end if I kept baging my head on the ceiling when I woke up each morning. Plus its kinda of funny seeing your retarded roomate try to climb on the top bunk after a night of booze and whoring! j/k

^after a night of booze you're roommate will probably not go up to his own bed and will end up having sex on your bottom bunk ;)

who goes home during the nite of boozing and whoring??? not too many that I have ever heard about.

if it didn't happen the term sexile wouldnt exist ;)

Bottom... but only because I fall out of bed sometimes when I wake up in the morning... I'm really groggy. This year I'm in a super raised yet not lofted bed(about 5 ft up) and I have fallen out a few times and ouch... it's painful.
