If my essay does not fit any of the topic choices and if I decide to use it under "Topic of Your Choice," do I need to have a topic "prompt" written before the essay so the readers know what they are reading or no?

No. (10 char)

You would be wise imo to prepare such a prompt. Having the prompt before you can help focus your writing and also help with editing your drafts.

^Oh, definitely know what your “prompt” is going to be. It should just be obvious enough from reading your essay, so there’s no need to write it out at the top when you actually submit.
