So, I was reading some other thread where the people were saying that accepting a place on the priority waiting list was not binding. However, in my waitlist reply form, there is the option to stay on the priority waiting list. This option says, "Please keep my name on the School of Computer Science Priority Waiting List. Carnegie Mellon is my first choice and I will enroll if accepted and post a non-refundable $800 enrollment deposit." If you pick this option, doesn't it mean this decision is binding, and you must enroll if accepted?

Bump bump …

No, it just means that if you do not enroll you will lose your deposit.

QUESTION: Does everyone’s say something like “based on your qualifications, you can be on the priority waitlist”???

^ yes that’s what mine said… it seems like they put quite an amount of people on this waitlist…im starting to lose hope…
