I inadvertently sent my transcript about two days before I submitted my application. Do you think this is a problem? Should I have it sent again? Or do colleges normally set stuff aside?

Any replies are appreciated.

what do you think they do with the forms that may have crossed paths in the mail, and hit at different times?

do you think they toss them in the trash? or do you think they put them in a file, and as applications come in, match them up

Well, I was panicking a little bit.

I suppose you're right.

bump bump bump

No problem. Relax.

"I suppose you're right." But then 3 hours later, you panic and bump your post. LOL

What do you think CC posters are going to say? Everything will be OPINION. (temporary files are made all the time, BTW). If you're truly worried call the school. Or follow citygirlsmom and analyze the situation yourself -- what would you do if you ran an admissions office?

PLEASE relax.

I asked someone from admissions the same question. They store transcripts/recs/other stuff in separately and then match it up after they get your application. For schools that get a lot of applicants, they said it can take a few weeks to get everything matched up, but it'll turn out ok.

Yeah, I ended up checking with the school itself this afternoon--that option didn't occur to me this morning, for some reason--and it's resolved, from their own admissions office.

Anyway, thanks for the replies, everyone; I'm sorry for being obsessed! I guess I just felt the crunch and needed some reassurance.

:) :) :) :) :)
