Transcript Status Help

I am starting to get really worried now because I sent my transcript, along with my teacher recs, in on December 3 and it still says that uva has not received it on my status page. Is anyone else in the same position I am or if not how long did it take you for your transcript to be received? Please somebody help me with this so I can be a little less worried about it.....thanks.

Were your teacher recs. paper or electronic? If paper, then it won't show up on your status page.
If I were you, I'd FAX your transcript, either you do it with a brief explanation of your worry or have your school FAX or electronically send it again. If you do it, then you know it is really done. In your explanation, tell them that official reports are on there way. UVA really, really follows it's honor code, so if you are honest they will take you seriously.
Don't wait too long though.

My teacher recs were paper. Ok thanks for your help, I will just have to do it when i get back to school on the 2nd. I had called the admissions office and they said it was probably there but just not logged into the computer yet...but I am still worried about it.

Im pretty nervous about that too, my guidance counselor sent my stuff in for
U of M late and I got lucky b/c they have rolling admissions. I told them the deadline was two weeks earlier than it really is this time.

I wouldn't worry too much about transcripts showing up on status. I sent mine about three weeks ago and isn't up there yet. They are probably pretty backed up with mail. Also the deadline is the postmark deadline. The transcript doesn't have to be there on that day it just has to have been sent by that day.

My S applied on 11/24. His transcripts and recs were not sent online, and the status of his transcripts changed to "recieved" on 12/24, so it took a month. However, now you have to take into consideration the holidays we've had these past two weeks so it may take longer.

Give it until the 3rd week in January. If we need something from you, we'll contact you.

The note on your status page:
