Transcript Validation

"roflkeke.. wow ur such an *******. you joined cc just to make a ucsd hopeful worry about his admissions?

ohsnapz don't worry about this guy, he's probably bitter cuz he got rejected or something lol"

Not only do people ignore grammar, they still use words such as "cuz," and "lol". Christ, people, if you are going to college at least learn to properly type.

And no, I am not a bitter reject. I'm a bit more grown up then the majority of people on here. I just continue to be amazed by how immature some of the people on CC are. I guess this is due to the fact most of them have not been to college yet, and have not hit the wall that is the real world. Oh well, good luck folks!

OhSnapz, if you are still trying to avoid the problem, that is your fault. Nobody else's. You need to call admissions today, and figure out the situation. But I suspect you won't do that, but continue to live in the dream fantasy of your's.

I need to call admissions today and figure out the situation? I've already dealt with the situation and am awaiting my verdict. What you need to do is shut up.

What makes you think you're entitled to tell me that I'm rescinded? Only UCSD admissions has the sole right to tell that to me. Not some recent CC sign-up who makes his first post a tiding of misfortune. In fact, there's anything I hate more, it's people who tell me that I should give up before resolving an issue.

You lost your legitimacy from post 1 so don't expect me to do anything you say or even believe you for that matter.

yea i am wishing you good luck OhSnapz. :)

You are thick headed. What I meant was call and find out the verdict. Jesus Christ. You need to get some people skills, learn to talk to people.

And you think this is my first post, my first account? Dead wrong child.

Your name, roflkeke, certainly helps to get that point across.

Unfortunately, the only thing you're proving by admitting that you have multiple accounts on CC, isn't how experienced you are... but rather how untrustworthy of a character you are. Why else would you make a new account to tell me that I'm rescinded? Obviously because you're afraid of the repercussions of being an ***hole.

All the more of a reason why I shouldn't believe any of the crap you're saying.

To everyone else, sorry for getting off-topic. I just want people to know how phony this guy is so people in the same situation as I am in don't have to stress. So to sum it all up, roflkeke is clearly a malicious, deceitful, and fairly retarded individual.

Case closed for me.

I can't wait until you get to college. It's going to kick your ass.

Have fun though! Idiot...

^
Hahaha. Hopefully snapz will get in first.

wow... i finally got my transcripts validated this morning. and to show exactly how screwed i was, here are some of my problems:
-D in AP spanish 1st semester senior year
-didn't even send in my college transcripts (not sure if this matters or not)
-i dont think my ap scores were sent to ucsd either
But they still validated me, so those of you guys who are still waiting, good luck.

snapz, don't worry. according to that paragraph that roflkeke cited from the admissions, it says "SUBJECT TO" not "definitely get revoked" so you didn't definitely get rejected.

i dropped a class my senior year first semester, promptly sent out snail mail to all the colleges i applied to and i was fine. i don't think it hurt any of my chances (stanford was out of the question anyway. i would have never gotten in). ucsd (nor did any of the other colleges) never replied to my snail mail. i assume they received it and put it on file. the same probably happened to your letter.

the chances of getting revoked this year are probably very low. i heard this year's freshmen class is much, much smaller than last year's so they probably won't be handing out revoked letters out to people like candy. i believe one of my friends got revoked the week before welcome week (sorry to scare you) but she explained her situation or did something and she was allowed to come to ucsd. but i think hers was a special situation, not one of bad grades on the transcript, but i never asked since it was a delicate issue.

let us know the verdict/outcome.

so, UCSD e-mailed me, and I guess my transcript wasn't validated because I didn't send in my community college transcript (I took one of the G reqs at community college, so I guess it would be really important for me to send that part in... OOPS!) Now I can rest with ease.

I've finally been validated! It's about time!

transcripts validated! hell yeah

woot validated!

i STILL didnt get mine checked off. whats more, the box for TRANSCRIPTS RECEIVED got UNCHECKED!!! i can still log onto TritON, though. what does this mean, that my admission offer got cancelled???

krnnoodles, i think maybe it's a computer glitch?? if not, then you should call them...

you definitely need to call them.

last year, a girl got her 'transcripts received' box unchecked and it turned out that she had been rescinded. she was reinstated after writing a letter of appeal.

dang, that just woke me up........... how and where do i need to write the letter of appeal to??

no man, first you need to call the admission office to see what's up.

My transcript was taking forever to get checked and I called UCSD to see what was up. Apparently my school sent it in but my school name and my legal name didn't match so they didnt know where my transcript was. so they told me they would fix it. But NOOO, i called them again after a week and apparently they didnt do anything about it. So then they told me they would make a note of it and fix it. So i waited again, and still nothing happened. SO I called them AGAIN, and i found out they STILL didn't do anything about it yet. So i told them again to fix it, and finally the lady found my transcript and got it taken care of....so the moral of the story is UCSD admission office is very busy and they forget stuff very quickly so you gotta keep on nagging them until they fix your problems...

ok, if ur admissions offer gets revoked, do you receive something in the mail, or will you find out through the ucsd account?
