My second semester grades are en-route to East Lansing and should arrive by Monday. I was told that since its so late, they are handing out decisions very quickly. Could i get something back in a matter of days? Also, would they post a decision online, possibly? (like some schools do) or would I have to wait for the tangible letter?

Hey I’m in the same boat. My grades should be there by Monday too. Is that true about them handing out fast decesions? Btw I see you’re a potential business major based on other posts…what do you see yourself majoring in?

Just out of curiosity, where’d you hear that from?

I was actually told this on the phone by the admissions office a couple days ago. I had mentioned a little concern about getting a decision deep into the summer, and the girl on the phone basically said that, this late, they are trying to get decisions to people as soon as possible and to expect a decision very shortly after they get everything. A friend of mine that goes to State said that, unlike with some of the freshman decisions during the school year, they might just post my decision online and/or e-mail it before a letter comes. You’ve mentioned that your not too familiar with transfer admissions, but if you’ve heard/know of anything I’d appreciate! :)

Oh and apparently the deposit deadline for freshman just happened, and once that information is processed it will make the numbers they need very clear, and thus will make the decision process for transfers much easier, I would imagine?

Hopefully they’ll have lots of transfer spots left. If I get in I’m taking it as a sign to
Go.
