<p>alright, i wanted to know if anybody on here has made the decision between Syracuse's Newhouse school and GWU's SMPA...or if they are making the decision right now. I'm currently a student at Syracuse but was accepted to SMPA for next fall....but i still HAVE NO IDEA if i chose SMPA over Newhouse... so if you know any positives or negatives about either communications schools or are making this decision as well, please let me know!</p>

<p>Well, the most important question to ask yourself is which discipline would you prefer to study and eventually work in? Magazine publishing is a dying industry, something to consider. Also, you need to consider where you would be more comfortable living. They are very different places. Syracuse is a big sports school, GW is not, but is in the middle of the most political city in the US.</p>
