Transfer chances to Cornell aem/ UVA cas

I applied to UVA and cornell my senior year in high school, but got rejected. I finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 increasing significantly every year, also got a 4.4 my senior year first semester. I have good ecs and 29 ACT/ 1980 SAT. I am planning on going to Wake Forest for a year and then trying to transfer, I am looking to major in business, what gpa would I need to transfer to either UVA of cornell aem? Because of Wake is known for tough grading would anything above a 3.5 be above average chances?
Thanks

looking for some advice thank you

SAT’s? ACT’s? Extra Currics?

Its up there but…
29- ACT
1980 SAT 650-math, CR 680-writing
ECs
Worked at a restaurant for 8 months during junior year
internship at financial company
varsity golf- 4 years, captain, mvp, lots of achievements-not recruited tho
service- over 100 hours at local golf camp
Tutoring elementary kids for past two years
some clubs here and there and symphonic band and cornell summer college
some other ECs- national spanish honor society
ECs are alright probably get more involved at college
what are my chances for transferring to cornell aem/ uva for business
what would I need to get at Wake?
thanks

My bad, I’m used to the outlined chance me rather than the paragraph chance me lol.
EC’s are excellent, not much leadership but still not shabby. I’d highly, highly suggest a SAT score of atleast 2100+ or an ACT of 32-33+

If you secure some good stuff at the place you’re at, ur in good hands my friend.

Thank you for the help. im going to wake trying to get above a 3.5. So would you recommend taking the SAT again even though I am in college? Other than slightly low SAT do you think I have a good shot?

Well EC’s are decent, but nothing super. I can’t say too much about the transfers department.

Though I hope you intend to really get it around 3.7-3.8 instead of just a 3.5

In your earlier post you said my ECs were excellent haha anyways i know they arent great but i expect to also get involved in college. Plus wake is know for hard grading (no grade inflation) that is why I was saying 3.5 or above I do hope to get a 3.7 tho

Why not just stay at wake forest? Wouldn’t it be hard to switch schools from a place you’ve lived at for a year? I mean I’m not in college so I don’t know. Whats your real motivation? Wake Forest is a pretty rigorous school, isn’t it?

Motivation is my heart was really set on cornell and uva I really liked them both. Wake has a good B-school and is well-respected, but there is severe grade deflation and the school is expensive. Wake is a great school and if I love I will stay, but my intentions are to transfer.

Oh that’s cool I was just wondering cause I don’t really know much about transfer students! You look solid to me! Maybe better tests?
