Transfer Chances?

<p>I'm currently a sophomore at the University of Mary Washington double majoring in Sociology and Business, but am planning to drop the business major for the government major.</p>

<p>I applied in the Spring and got wait listed with a 3.4, no letters of recommendation.</p>

<p>I currently have a 3.58 gpa and am getting 3 letters of recommendation from professors. I am Hispanic, and am a little frustrated with the lack of cultural organizations on campus. One of my major reasons for wanting to transfer is so that I can find a greater variety of clubs and organizations that satisfy my interests, which I know W and M has. </p>

<p>Do I have a shot this time?</p>

<p>Yes you have a shot. Get on the phone and call the admissions office. Tell them exactly what you have told us. Your interest will not go unnoticed. Court William and Mary. Make a visit. You've done a very good job at MDubs. I hope things work out for you.</p>
